I seem to have neglected my blog for a week or two. This is partly due to various deadlines I've had to meet, but I have now allocated myself some blogging time!

After watching the new documentary on channel 4 "The Model Agency", I have taken the time to appreciate what these people do! It was a really good documentary, into the insight of Premier model management.  They deal with castings, bookings, recruiting new models, etc.  It seems to be a very fast paced industry, and until now was something that I hadn't thought about. However I wouldn't mind working in this type of industry as I think it would be really interesting.

I'm currently in love with Amadna seyfried's photoshoot for Interview, March 2011. There's definitely a vintage feel about the pieces and she looks so elegant in the pictures. To catch the interview in full: http://www.interviewmagazine.com/film/amanda-seyfried/. Take a glimpse below to see some of the pictures. She wears lightweight designs from the likes of Valention, Alberta Ferretti and Dolce & Gabanna (photographed by Mikael Jansson).

Forever 21 on Oxford Street.

As I was reading the newspaper this week I discovered that the Disney Store on Oxford street was to close down. This news came as an utter disappointment as I love going in to the Disney store, and seeing the magic it has to offer. However as I found out what was going to be in its place, I quickly became very excited indeed.

In its place is the American chain of stores "Forever 21". Having gone to New York less than a month ago has made me reminisce about my time there. Learning that the Forever 21 chain of stores is coming to London has made me very excited indeed! Forever 21 is a bit like H&M with a feel of River Island. Literally every where you turned you would see a bright yellow Forever 21 in New York. Its pricing is really good and has a vast amount of clothing appealing to different people. I can't wait for its grand opening!

Summer please.

I've had enough of this cold, windy, miserable weather, can't we just skip to summer please?

One thing that has warmed me up though is looking at D&G Spring/Summer ad campaign, oh my I can feel the warmth coming from the vibrant pictures already. One big trend looks ready to hit the s/s of 2011, which of course is the flower pattern. But I guess it wouldn't be summer without flowers, right?
