FREEEEEEEEEEEDOM!

That is correct I have successfully (I hope) finished my first year of uni! Having completed a portfolio, essay and report I am now free for four whole months.

The work however does not stop there. I have four months to do something with my life. I currently have one upcoming internship at Style magazine in Milton Keynes. The magazine has different branches in different areas, I will be working with the Buckinghamshire branch. This will give me the opportunity to gain some  experience in the world of journalism, which is something that I would like to do as I have a real passion for writing. I'm excited as it will be my first proper internship, and will give me a insight in to the journalism world.

I also need to get a job and get starting with my uni projects. As they say, time waits for no man!

XOXO

Gypsy05

Having neglected my blog for a few weeks now, I thought it would be nice to write a little something. At current I am submerged within an essay, report and portfolio to create. One element of my portfolio which is however done is my photographic shoot.

We were given a photographic brief to carry out (in groups). Mine was Gypsy05, which at first proved challenging. The brief stated that the pictures were to be in rural locations such as forests, farms and the seaside. Props to be used were animals such as horses, and anything Gypsy related. However, having great friends who just so happen to own horses and lives in a rural location not so far from Nottingham (Lincoln) came in handy in deed. So along with a model in tow we set off to Lincoln to capture what we believed was the essence of the brand and portrayed the Gypsy lifestyle. We found our own props and styled the shoot to follow the gypsy trend. Below are the edited pictures.
