Intern part deux.

Today was my second day and so I began to feel at home more, becoming familiar with my surroundings and settling in to a daily routine.

Today I experienced my first meeting. All the workers gathered in the hall/reception area. We were informed that Exposure had won two bronze awards at the prestigious event Cannes Lions. The award was for PR and was for the Doc Martens 50th birthday celebrations video.

We were also showed three separate videos of new brand "Farrell Apparel".  This is a newly established clothing line launched by Robbie Williams, for which Exposure have created its campaign. The clothing will be available in Net-A-Porter and House of Fraser. Robbie had the idea of creating clothes that would be worn on average guys in pubs, hence why the clothing is sold in House of Fraser and not Libertys. http://www.robbiewilliams.com/shop/farrell-apparel

Today was about familiarising myself with tasks that I had already learnt how to complete in addition to carrying out new ones. I learnt how to use the scanner/copier (vital in the world of PR and vital knowledge of an intern). I also did a little errand to a local newsagent to pick up a copy of today's Grazia, and I learnt how to send out stock to a company. All of which will no doubt be important.

Today was also about learning that great minds really do think alike, as all interns were similarly dressed today. Particularly me and Jen wearing cream shirts and denim shorts!

Vintage shirt, Vintage denim Levis shorts and Urban Outfitters Necklace.
